in case you were ever wondering what the saddest bite of the day is, the answer is lunch.
the last bite of lunch is the saddest bite of the day.
that being said, i plan ahead and try to leave the absolute best bite tasting bite for last, (you know, a little bit of everything on the fork) but alas, it never works. i'm always sad. i guess it's because lunch is over and i'm still hours away from dinner.
lunch you're a constant disappointment.

its so interesting! sometimes i like to think of lunch as what traditionalists call dinner. because then im 'progressive.' and sometimes i like to make dinner a little something like breakfast. because again im progressive but also nostalgic. this makes my eating schedule a cycle of breakfasts and dinners. unless im ordering a brunch. which only happens when i have the total urge to move to japan. and then dont even start me up on this subject!
